Creation of education tools to support the knowledge of technical and
practical meaning of care labelling in Europe
Project objectives:
The main idea of the project is to support the knowledge of technical and
practical meaning of care labelling in Europe via creating a unified
education tools (E/I tools). The symbols enable communication without
language barriers and in all European languages have the same meaning.
Project target groups:
Main purpose of symbols used in VET is the communication within the chain of
manufacturer — supplier - retailer — trade master — industrial care.
Manufacturer has to know the technical meaning of care symbols and be aware
of need to proof properties of their textile products (shrinkage,
colourfastness, etc.) to declare correct care labelling.
Retailers have to understand the recommended labelling and be prepared to
explain it and advice the correct care of the textile products. The prepared
tools should be used by teachers as good alternative education tool for
enlightenment to future retailers or producers.
Textile services related to industrial textile care are very much concerned
in textile care labelling because they choose the correct care according to
the mentioned care symbols. E/I tools will be prepared for all mentioned
target groups according to their needs (brochure, leaflets, CDs) and will be
translated to all partner languages

Een dokument van 13 bladzijden
(370X210 mm) waarin de basisprincipes van de onderhoudsetikettering worden
weergegeven. Ieder gesymboliseerd proces wordt beschreven : wassen, bleken,
drogen, strijken, professionele reiniging.Tevens worden telkens de
tececificaties weergegeven.

De overzichtskaart: Een
overzichtskaart van 382 X 205 mm, welke dubbel gevouwen wordt (191X205mm)
met illustraties van de verschillende bestaande symbolen in tabelvorm, en met
hun technische omschrijvingen.
